DUBAI, U.A.E., 23 April 2012 - mercator's loyalty solution, CRIS, continues to gain popularity, and be selected by airlines across the globe seeking to drive consumer loyalty and business returns.
Air Algerie, the national flag carrier of Algeria, has signed for mercator's CRM and loyalty solution to manage its frequent flier programme, Air Algerie Plus. The technology, which has recently been implemented, replaces the carrier's former loyalty solution, ISIS, provided by Air France.
The implementation of CRIS included the development of a new website for the airlines' loyalty programme members. Available in both English and French, this addition has been extremely well received by Air Algerie Plus members.
CRIS is being hosted by mercator at its Dubai-based data centre. The technology has been designed to integrate with the airline's existing passenger reservations systems (MARS), also provided by mercator, enabling Air Algerie to service its loyalty members through any of its global network offices.
Air Algerie has been a customer of mercator's since 1999, and along with CRIS, uses 5 of mercator's technologies to manage its passenger and cargo operations.
Head of Loyalty for Air Algerie, Samira Tata stated "CRIS will enable us to more effectively manage our customer loyalty program Air Algerie Plus. We now have a single customer database, which will help us better understand the value of our base and reward patronage accordingly. The product has also enabled us to increase workplace efficiencies through its integration with our passenger reservations system. This will allow over 150 Air Algerie offices to process and track member requests."
