DUBAI / MEXICO CITY, 30 August 2012 - Club Premier, Mexico's leading loyalty programme, has gone live with mercator's Customer Segmentation and Campaign Management system. Customer needs and market challenges, Club Premier was seeking a system to better manage data collation, real time tracking and segmentation. Working closely with Club Premier, mercator spent two years developing a system, which enables Club Premier to build on its loyalty program and benefit from additional data synchronisation capabilities. The technology complements Club Premier's existing loyalty system, CRIS - in use since 2010 when it was mercator's launch customer in the Latin American market. The systems are being used to manage Latin America's first frequent flyer programme. Club Premier is an award winning loyalty programme with more than three million members world-wide. "We have been working closely with mercator to develop this cutting-edge loyalty technology for campaign management. The new Customer Segmentation and Campaign Management tool is expected to be a great success and will ensure proactive services to our customers," said Jeremy Rabe, Club Premier CEO. "mercator is helping our program differentiate itself from our competitors by having ready access to information which enables us to respond to the needs of our customers at a more rapid rate." The new system is highly configurable and enables data synchronisation from corporate data sources, campaign lifecycle management, tracking and analysis, as well as, creative CRM content design templates. It offers the opportunity to centralise, streamline and efficiently utilise data, communicate with key customers and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities. "Having worked with Club Premier since 2010 and being a part of their monumental transition from being Aeromexico's Loyalty programme to becoming a stand-alone coalition programme – our teams had acquired a thorough understanding of their core business and the challenges they faced," said Patrick Naef, Head of mercator. "It is because of our customer-centric approach that Club Premier came to mercator to help them take the business to the next level in Campaign Management. Once again, mercator and Club Premier have partnered to bring industry-leading technology solutions to the Latin America market; solutions which can now be utilised to benefit carriers around the world."

MERCATOR DELIVERS NEW SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO EMIRATES
DUBAI, 16 August 2012 - In March 2011, mercator made a promise to its customers and the aviation safety industry to develop a cutting-edge safety and compliance management system to enable the aviation industry to manage safety information and compliance in an integrated and efficient manner. In only 15 short months, mercator has delivered its promise. The new safety and compliance management system, replacing mercator's existing product, Sentinel, is now live and running with its launch customer, award-winning Emirates Airline as of 18 June. Employees have been provided with a set of guidelines towards ensuring that standards of safety are continually improved across the Emirates Group. This also ensures the welfare and safety of the Group's customers, colleagues and equipment; and improves operational performance. "There is nothing in market today that addresses the need for integration between the various internal components that drive Safety in an organisation. Our new product manages the Reactive, Proactive and Predictive aspects of Safety; ensuring that every hazard is managed and every risk contained. The level of integration and intelligence that we have been able to feed into the product from our years of experience and the valuable know-how of our people makes this the most purpose-built product for aviation safety, said Captain Henry Donohue, Senior Vice-President Emirates Group Safety. Developed in cooperation with a dedicated project team at Emirates, the system is now being used by the over 50,000 strong team across the Group to report safety information. Delivered on time, the safety management solution makes Emirates demonstrate compliance to the ICAO SMS guidelines. Following the pilot period, the product, will be available to the rest of mercator's customers and the wider aviation industry in the coming months. "Understandably, as in any IT development project on an ambitious mission to develop a new product that meets global aviation industry requirements, our project had its ups and downs. But mercator's drive and commitment kept the project on track. The development team from mercator and Emirates worked extremely hard to make this possible and we are proud of the achievements of both teams," said Patrick Naef, Divisional Senior Vice-President of Emirates IT and Head of mercator. "We have already had many of our current and potential customers enquire about the product and look forward to offering our system to the industry in the near future."
