Uniform Stores
Uniformed people account for over 60% of any airline's workforce, with the uniform playing a crucial role in portraying the right professional image for the airline. The task of effectively managing the business processes related to uniforms is therefore an important yet complex one.

Mercator's Uniform Stores module automates the entire process, and streamlines entitlement, eligibility, requisitioning, approval, and the replacement and replenishment of inventory levels.

Staff can raise requisitions for uniforms from a browser-based front end. Processes such as suitcase repairs and tailor orders are completely automated.

The tool is integrated with the Oracle HRMS module in order to gather all employee-related staff details to ascertain eligibility and entitlement. Stock levels are maintained on a real time basis through integration with the Oracle Inventory module.

IFS (In-flight Services) Stores
The in-flight services stores are one of the most important operational elements for an airline. Typically an airline would have more than one IFS store, based on their network, and collation and replenishment of stock has always been a challenge.

The IFS Stores module gives airlines the power to enjoy real time views of stock levels network-wide, putting them firmly in control. The labour-intensive activities of IFS departments are considerably eased.

The application is closely integrated with Oracle Inventory and Oracle General Ledger. It maintains shipping networks across catering organisations and automates the replenishment of stock at an inventory based on the current stock levels.
