Group Chief Executive Officer
John joined as CEO of the Accelya Group in March of 2015. Prior to joining Accelya, he held the role of CEO of Luxembourg based CHAMP Cargosystems, after holding the position of CIO & Vice President of Cargolux Airlines.
During his career spanning over 25 years serving the aviation industry, John has held senior executive positions in several countries and has provided senior management and consulting services across the Airline industry. John is originally from the UK and is currently based in Luxembourg.
Jose Maria Hurtado
Group Chief Financial Officer
Jose Maria joined the Accelya Group in December of 2007 and has held the position of group CFO since then. Prior to joining Accelya he held several senior financial executive roles at the automotive division of Siemens, as well as senior roles at KPMG. During his time with Accelya, Jose Maria has been instrumental in building a world class organization and a frame of reference in financial leadership. Jose Maria is from Barcelona where he is currently based.
Chief Strategy Officer
Formerly an executive with one of the largest offshore business process outsourcing companies and a founding partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ pioneering outsourcing line of business, Deborah has 20 years of experience focused on shared services and outsourcing in organizations. Most recently as, CMO of WNS, she has driven game-changing IT-enabled solutions, helping leading airlines adopt, expand and embrace technology. As an advisor, she has honed consulting and communication techniques that help clients institutionalize change leadership, working with companies such as Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, National Australia Bank, the World Bank, Verizon, AT&T, and the Australian Government. Deborah helps F500 and FTSE100 companies effectively design, implement, scale, and manage new business delivery models and she frequently contributes to a range of industry-leading publications and research organizations. She holds a master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
Vice President, Marketing
Michele is an accomplished B2B marketing strategy expert with over 15 years of experience in driving demand, and building successful, profitable organizations. As Vice President of Marketing, she is focused on supporting Mercator’s growth and business generating efforts globally through effective and results-oriented marketing campaigns and brand cultivation.
Prior to joining Mercator, Michele held marketing leadership roles at SunGard and was instrumental in leading the company’s transformation after a merger to help form a disparate business. Michele brings cross-cultural experience and a global outlook, having worked in the US, Europe and the Middle East. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought and a Master of Business Administration.
Chief Technology Officer
Brendan is Chief Technology Officer at Mercator. As an advocate of leading technologies for almost three decades, Brendan is an accomplished entrepreneur having founded a number of internationally traded companies, one of which was Columba Global Systems where he invented the Exprimer Search Engine. He has also held several roles in technology and business consultancy for organizations including Elias N.V. under IBM Belgium, and CGI in Canada. Brendan is passionate about aviation and quotes his tenure as an advisor to Royal Flight of Oman as his dream posting to date. He has also worked for a number of governments, designing and implementing national solutions focused on airline data, such as e-visa and security systems.
Chief Operating Officer, Managed Services
Eric brings with him over 30 years of Business Process Management experience. His last appointment was with WNS Global Services where he held several senior management positions. As Global Operations Director, he was responsible for building the Global Delivery and Support structure to enable significant growth; as CEO of the Enterprise Business, he created the F&A practice and the Shipping Logistics & Infrastructure division as Managing Director of Europe and South Africa region he was responsible for strategic deals and operations.
Prior to WNS Eric was with Hays plc as the Managing Director of the Document Management business where he set up and ran several businesses across multiple geographies.
He sits on the IT and Services Advisory council of Sri Lanka.
Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Allison joins Mercator after a successful career spanning over two decades working with global software companies in both North America and Europe. Prior to that, Allison held the role of Vice President at Infor, responsible for the sales strategy of the CRM and BPM divisions. Allison led the sales team to transform new business opportunities by implementing innovative and creative sales strategies within a one year period.
Allison has held several successful General Manager roles with industry leading companies to include Adobe and Aptean Software, and was involved in the due diligence for their acquisition of Supportsoft which proved transformational for business in Europe. She enjoys working closely with her team and motivating people with energy, drive, and determination along the way.
